Chris DiNardo has been a professional wedding DJ for over twenty years. He started at age 16, playing weddings from Philadelphia to San Juan, Puerto Rico, and in 2011 he founded SEK Productions — now South Jersey's premier wedding DJ and event lighting company, based in Williamstown, NJ. Today, SEK Productions has performed at over 500 weddings across the Tri-State area, with 450+ five-star reviews, multiple WeddingWire Couples' Choice Awards, and a track record that has earned the company preferred-vendor status at many of South Jersey's top wedding venues — including The Legacy Club, DoubleTree by Hilton Cherry Hill, The Merion, and Caffe Aldo Lamberti. Chris has also appeared on television shows including "My Fair Wedding with David Tutera," and has trained every DJ currently on the SEK roster personally. He writes here about what twenty years in the booth have actually taught him — honestly, specifically, and without the usual wedding-industry polish. When he's not DJing, Chris is working diligently on incorporating A.I applications into wedding professionals across the area.
